The state song is "Illinois" by C.H. Chamberlain and Archibald Johnston. President Barack Obama was U.S. Senator from Illinois before being elected to the White House. Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich was convicted of trying to sell Obama's seat. Three other former governors served time in prison.
