During the victory celebration the campaign played the song "I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty. The singer's family tweeted on Twitter how they were touched to hear the song and congratulated Biden and Harris.

Stevie Wonder performed his new songs "Can't Put It In the Hands of Fate" and "Where Is Our Love Song" at a Joe Biden rally in Detroit, as reported by Rolling Stone on November 1, 2020. The two songs marked Wonder's first musical releases in 15 years.

Rapper Eminem made an ad for the Biden-Harris campaigned shared on Instagram, containing his hit "Lose Yourself." Biden tweeted some of the lyrics to the song to emphasize "we have one shot."

Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift gave the Biden campaign permission to use her song "Only the Young" in one of its campaign ads. The song also appears in her Netflix documentary Miss Americana.

TV ads for the Biden campaign included songs such as "Decepciones" (which means "disappointments") by Alejandro Fernandez and "Pero Ya No (Not Anymore)" by Bad Bunny. The campaign connected with Latino voters in various states using the optimistic anthem "Fronteras" by Gaby Moreno.
