Alex Cosper celebrates the 30 year anniversary of his radio hit "Waves On The West Coast." The artist was billed as Tangent
featuring A.C. and Harrison Price, who was a local producer. Cosper was the music director at KWOD in Sacramento, California
in 1989 when he convinced upper management to play his recording. It was part of an experiment to find out if a local song could
get response if played on the feature "Like It or Spike It." Listeners called in to support the song, which became a hit on the
station that summer.
