Social Music Talk host Alex Cosper and producer Sam Cadura conducted an experiment to take live calls
from the audience for the first time on May 4, 2019. Calls came in from musicians John Young of Roseville, CA
and Lando Martinez of San Diego, CA. John talks about going to college at San Diego State in the 80s then
moving to the Sacramento area in 1992. He mentions his job as morning host of KUIC in Vacaville, in between
Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. He also talks about his band Beano Banditos, which mixes covers
and originals. Lando Martinez plays guitar for the
band Hocus and talks about how he was inspired by San Diego band Stone Temple Pilots.
