Alex Cosper Interviews Music Industry Veteran Bill Pfordresher
Music executive Bill Pfordresher, who was a national VP of Promotion for Elektra Records in the 90s, was interviewed
by Alex Cosper about Bill's amazing music career Saturday afternoon March 2 on WS Radio. Bill talked about his days
as a promotion executive at various labels, including Elektra, where he was VP/Promotion in the 90s. He also worked at MCA,
20th Century Fox and Zoo Entertainment. Bill talked about how Russ Regan helped elevate his career in the music business.
Bill is a big Beatles fan and got to have dinner once with their producer George Martin. He has helped in the
production and engineering of major recording projects such as Ambrosia and helped Kenny Wayne Shepherd get his
record deal. Bill also participates in the creative process by writing and recording his music in his home studio.
He plays guitar and knows a lot of Beatles songs. His song "I Love Baseball" is included in
this show.
