New Age Music
The two biggest years for New Age music in the 2000s were 2001 and 2003, according to data from Peter Hart Research and Taylor Research & Consulting Group, as reported on RIAA.com in the RIAA's 2008 Consumer Profile. The genre scored 1% market share both of those years and stayed below a one share the rest of the decade. In 2008 New Age popularity doubled from a .3 to .6 share.
