Review: Velvet Winter - "Diamond Daydreams"

From the start of the black and white video to "Diamond Daydreams," it's clear that Velvet Winter explores beyond the norm. The vocals are unique and aren't drowned in harmonies the way so much pop and rock music has become. It's refreshing that the form of the song doesn't follow a typical obvious pattern. The wandering melody may not have a familiar hook commonly found in pop, but the tune maintains a listenable sound without relying on gimmicks.
